Juggling motherhood and the multitude of tasks required of women on a daily basis can be hard for many of us. We might think that the glamorous lifestyle that celebrities enjoy makes motherhood a little easier- but celebrity moms can find it difficult to balance it all, too.

Hilary Duff shared a very real moment from her own journey with motherhood in a raw and hilarious Instagram post on Tuesday, January 22. The mom of Luca, 6, and Banks, 3 months, let her followers know exactly how her first morning alone with both of her children went- and it didn't go very well.

The actress was on her own with both of her children on Tuesday morning and was faced with the difficult task of getting her son to school on time. While she tried to be prepared by choosing outfits for all three of them the night before, the morning was still pretty chaotic.

Her post, which included a photograph of the "Lizzie McGuire" alum looking sleepy in a black and yellow Fendi sweatshirt, started off with the actress advising her followers that she had a few thoughts to share.

"100% real talk this is the first day I had two kids on my own on a school morning," she begins. "Breastfeeding and making breakfast, getting 2 kids and myself dressed and packed and out the door while tripping over 4 dogs and feeding the damn fish was not easy."

She further goes on to say that, although the morning was challenging, she was proud of herself for making it through. She also praised other moms who face the same scenario every day.

She referred to those moms as "bad ass" and "super goddesses" who deserve to be praised for their tireless efforts at taking care of their children day in and day out.

Duff ended the post by sharing a funny incident that happened with her son while she was trying to get ready. "I even got 5 minutes to do some make up...then turned around to see Luca had used my lipstick as warrior paint on his face."

It just goes to show that no matter what type of job you have or how many children you have, all mothers face their own set of challenges each and every day. Instead of judging someone's parenting choices, we should raise each other up in the community of motherhood.
