Joanna Gaines is Totally Relatable After This Hilarious Parenting Post

Every parent can remember those first few months with their newborn. Sweet baby snuggles, adorable little milestones, and poop... lots and lots of poop. 

"Fixer Upper" star Joanna Gaines recently shared a photo to Instagram which perfectly sums up a rough night with a newborn. In the photo, posted on Sunday, August 5, Gaines' 6-week-old baby boy, Crew, is seen relaxing in a baby bouncer. Surrounding him are several dirty diapers, wipes, discarded clothes, and a bottle of soap. 

Gaines captioned the photo " along with the hashtags "#blowouts, #allnighteEvidence of a late night up with my boy"rs, #thisis40." The 40-year-old "Magnolia Table" author welcomed her fifth child with husband, Chip Gaines, 43, on June 21. 

The couple, who have been married for 15 years, are also parents to Drake, 13, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 8. The HGTV star got candid about the birth of Crew in a new interview with her magazine, "Magnolia Journal."

 
In the interview, Gaines revealed that her pregnancy came as a complete surprise. A few weeks after the couple announced they were leaving "Fixer Upper" after five seasons, Gaines found out she was pregnant. The mom-of-five told the magazine, "I truly believed I was done. And yet, after eight years, here I am with a newborn in my arms." 

The unexpected pregnancy forced her to take it easy and allowed her to focus more on her family. In addition to the funny post about a late night filled with poop, Gaines has been sharing heartwarming photos of her family enjoying time at their farmhouse in Texas. 

In a recent black and white snap, Gaines' husband and second youngest son are seen cuddling with Crew on a comfy bed. The proud mom captioned it, "Walked into this cuddlefest and my heart almost burst." 

Another post showed Gaines snuggling her newborn in a wooden rocking chair while the family's dog, Cookie, laid on the porch at her feet. The family of seven seemingly has the perfect life despite diaper blowouts and sleepless nights. 

Before announcing their fifth pregnancy, the popular HGTV stars dodged months of divorce rumors. Their decision to leave their hit home design show further fueled the rumor mill. 

In true Gaines style, the couple laughed off the rumors and have instead chosen to focus on their family and multiple businesses which include a store, restaurant, and home design line with Target.
