Kim Kardashian Laughs Off the Major Wardrobe Malfunction She Experienced at the Met Gala

Gorgeous and a sense of humor- Kim Kardashian seemingly has it all. She showed up to the 2018 Met Gala red carpet looking drop dead gorgeous in a custom gold Versace chainmail dress with cross designs inspired by their 1997 couture show.

The reality star shared snaps of herself squeezing into the dress earlier in the night, but it's what happened once she hit the red carpet that had everyone laughing. Since her dress was made of chainmail, it got stuck to pretty much every other celebrity's dress that walked by.

The KKW Beauty founder even posted a video of one dress altercation to SnapChat. Kardashian's dress got stuck to SZA's pink-layered tulle Versace dress. The makeup mogul and the Grammy-nominated singer laughed off the wardrobe malfunction, with the snap showing the two beauties trying to pull their dresses apart.

Kardashian walked the red carpet without her outspoken husband, Kanye West. West had caused some controversy earlier on in the week with several tweets he had made. He also had an interview with TMZ, which Kardashian was reportedly unaware of until it aired. Many celebrities spoke out against comments made by West during the interview, but Kardashian is trying to be supportive of the rapper. 

Kardashian wasn't the only member of her famous family to attend the star-studded Met Gala. The theme of this year's fashion event was, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination." Momager, Kris Jenner was present for the event, wearing a custom black and gold Tommy Hilfiger gown.

Jenner was involved in another funny red carpet moment when she was seen trying to fix her daughter, Kendall Jenner's, beautiful white pant suit. It appears the model was starting to suffer a wardrobe malfunction with the back of her custom Off-White couture top when her mom tried to jump in and save the day. The reality star was reportedly overheard whispering "Mom, stop!" as her mother was trying to intervene.

One other famous Jenner was at the event, which raises money for the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute. New mom, Kylie Jenner, walked the red carpet with her boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott. Jenner showed off her incredible post-baby body in a form-fitting black Alexander Wang dress.

Sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian were not at the event. Kourtney typically does not attend the gala while Khloe has been in Cleveland with her new daughter, True Thompson.
